In keeping with the special character of this assignment, I started with my design before deciding on a music genre. In fact I started from blank without even thinking of music. 

The face/head is the anchor for the rest of the cover. It radiates a sense of peace. This is accomplished by using black and white for the face and contrasting it with bright colours. Placing it in the right corner the face reigns over the rest of the cover. The dark eye is a powerful feature. The brightly coloured stripes give the cover a sense of movement. These are the dynamic and cheerful features of the overall image. They represent the music. The cover is therefore suitable for an electro-rock band with a powerful female lead vocalist.
